About the COVID-19 XBB 1.5 Vaccine

The new XBB 1.5 COVID-19 Vaccine targets and provides protection against the latest COVID-19 strain circulating throughout the Australian community.

The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) encourages those who have not received their recommended dose/s to receive the XBB 1.5 vaccine at this time as there has been an increase in COVID-19 cases throughout Australia since late last year.

First and second doses are also available for those who have not yet received their COVID-19 vaccination and wish to do so.
