COVID-19 vaccines (AstraZeneca, Moderna Bivalent & Pfizer) are available at Our Medical Crows Nest. First dose, second dose and boosters are available, including the new XBB 1.5 vaccination.
No appointment required. Simply walk-in to see a GP between 10am to 6pm every day.
Note we provide specific vaccines on specific days only:
Pfizer: Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday (10am - 6pm)
Moderna Bivalent: Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday (10am - 6pm)
Pfizer vaccinations for children aged 5-11 require a booking via the link below. Only available on Tuesdays (3:30pm - 5:10pm) and Fridays (3:30pm - 5:10pm)

An appointment is not required to see a bulk billing GP at Our Medical Crows Nest. Simply walk-in to see the next available doctor, or the doctor of your choice. No limits will be placed on the consultation type or duration. Emergency patients will be given priority.
Some GPs are available by appointment. Co-payment for GP consultations will be required. Appointments can be booked via the Our Medical app (under Specialists/Allied section).
Appointments will be required for allied health services.
Dr Janet Widmer is a Medical Acupuncturist and specialist General Practitioner at Our Medical Crows Nest.
Clinical applications of acupuncture include acute and chronic soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries, such as lower back, neck &/or shoulder pain, headaches, premenstrual syndrome, perimenopause, insomnia and other discomfort caused by illnesses and injuries.

In the event of a major emergency day or night such as chest pain, breathing difficulties or a serious accident, patients should call 000 immediately.
Bardia Paki offers audiology services at Our Medical Crows Nest. Bardia Paki has 20 years experience as an Audiologist and holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours and Master of Clinical Audiology. He has a particular interest in in paediatrics, cochlear implants and hearing aids.
Audiological services at Our Medical Crows Nest are Medicare Bulk Billed (meaning no out-of-pocket costs for Medicare card holders). This includes:
- Bulk billed hearing tests
- Bulk billed rehabilitation support including counselling and support with hearing aids and other devices
Other services include general diagnostic services, pensioner and Workcover.
Patients should speak to their GP for a referral. A GP referral is required for the audiology consult to be bulk billed, otherwise a $90 private fee will apply.

Petra Klein is the Accredited Practicing Dietitian at Our Medical Crows Nest and is available for consultation every second Wednesday.
Petra uses a variety of dietary models and other approaches to assist people and improve health conditions. She provides patients with empathy, support, and empowerment so they can confidently take the necessary steps to improve their health and wellbeing outcomes.

Free flu vaccines now available at Our Medical Crows Nest for Our Medical Membership Program members aged 5-64.
No appointment necessary. To receive the free flu vaccine, check-in to see a bulk billing GP at the centre using the Our Medical app.
For patients who don’t have a Medicare card, the vaccine is still free, however, patients will need to pay the standard private fee for the GP consultation.
*Government funded free flu vaccines for children 6 months to age 4 and patients aged 65+ are not yet available.
Several GPs at Our Medical Crows Nest are available by appointment. A co-payment for these GP consultations will be required.

So that you can plan your next visit, the rosters for our network of GPs are available in the Our Medical app - available on the App Store or the Google Play Store.
The real-time calendar will display the dates, start and finish times that every one of the doctors is working. You can also see which GPs are rostered on a particular day. Available up to two weeks in advance.
Selected Doctors at our medical centre are available for home visits for regular patients of the centre, when such visits are considered safe, reasonable and necessary and will be determined by the Doctor. They must live in a 5km radius of the centre for this to be organised.
Medical Certificates are available from Our Sage from $19.
The best form of general practice is face to face, however for when an in-person consult is not available, Our Sage is the next best alternative. Our Sage provides access to privately-billed telehealth consults (no Medicare rebate) from 7am to 11pm every day of the year.
Some street parking is available directly out the front of Our Medical Crows Nest.
The Alexander St Car Park, next to Woolworths, is the closest council operated car park and offers two hours free parking.

If Our Medical Crows Nest is your regular general practice, we encourage you to register for MyMedicare. You can register via your Medicare Online Account or Express Plus Medicare Mobile app.
For ease of check-in, new patients to Our Medical should download the Our Medical app from the Apple App Store or Google Play before coming into the centre.
- Download the Our Medical app
- Sign up as a NEW patient via the app, making sure you have your up-to-date Medicare card and Concession card (if applicable) details to complete the new patient registration.
Once you have signed up as a patient via the Our Medical app, you will be able to check yourself in to see a GP as soon as you have arrived at the centre. Simply select the “GP check in” icon in the app and follow the prompts.
Parents and caregivers should log-in as themselves so they can manage any dependants through the one app. This includes checking children in to see a GP on arrival.
A message will appear on the app, once you have logged in, at times when the centre has reached capacity and can no longer see any more patients. Please check before coming into the centre.
4Cyte Pathology at Our Medical Crows Nest is open from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and from 8:00am to 1.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Pathology is open at weekend hours on public holidays.
No appointment is required. Simply walk-in with your referral to see the pathology collector during opening hours. Most pathology services are bulk billed with a GP referral.
Patients will receive an SMS from the medical centre when the results are back. On receipt of this SMS, please come back in to the medical centre to discuss the results with the referring doctor.
Aiden Tan is the physiotherapist at Our Medical Crows Nest. Aidan offers physio consults Monday - Fridays from 8:30am - 5:30pm.
Private consult fees with the physio are $135 for an initial consult and $105 for a follow-up consult. Health fund rebates may apply.
Physio consults for patients with an active EPC plan will be charged an upfront fee of $85 for their physio consults. Medicare rebates apply.

Shawn Tomkins is the podiatrist at Our Medical Crows Nest and is available for appointments every Wednesday and Thursday.

Ana is a registered psychologist and holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Honours in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her clinical experience includes working in the areas of depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma and substance abuse
All consults are privately charged at $220.

As of 1 November, a new and more effective shingles vaccine is available for those most at risk of having complications from shingles.
This vaccine will be free for:
- People aged 65 years and older
- First Nations people aged 50 years and older
- Immunocompromised people aged 18 years and older with medical conditions including:
- Haemopoietic stem cell transplant
- Solid organ transplant
- Haematological malignancy
- Advanced or untreated HIV.

Telehealth is not currently available at Our Medical Crows Nest. Please come in to see a GP for a bulk billed consultation. No appointment required.
Telehealth is only offered to COVID positive patients. In these cases please call the medical centre. A confirmation of positive test result will be required to request a telehealth consult. Patients will also need to have have attended the medical centre in-person within the last 12 months to be eligible.
Patients might also consider using Our Sage telehealth services, which provides access to privately-billed telehealth consults (no Medicare rebate) from 7am to 11pm every day of the year. This service is available for new and existing, Medicare and non-Medicare patients.
Unless you are calling in relation to a medical emergency your doctor will be unable to speak to you while consulting with another patient. Our receptionists will pass on a message and the Doctor will return the call when time permits. Requests for results, prescriptions and referrals will not be taken. You will need to attend the medical centre to obtain these items. Telephone messages are sent through to individual doctors via the software system. Practice emails are viewed daily and allocated to the appropriate healthcare practitioner electronically.
We do not accept correspondence by fax. All patient health information needs to be exchanged securely via electronic messaging, such as HealthLink (ourmedcn), Medical Objects, Fetch, GIG Viewer etc. Please phone us for integration details.
