Visit Our Medical for a Healthier 2019

Many of us start the new year with plans to become healthier. A great place to start is with a health check by one of the bulk billing GPs at Our Medical. This ensures you are up-to-date with your routine medical care with no out-of-pocket cost for Medicare card holders.

Regular Health Checks

All Australians are encouraged to visit their GP on a regular basis to help support the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle, ensure vaccinations are up-to-date, and identify the early signs or risks of future health issues.

Based on your age, gender, and medical and family history, your GP may also recommend further checks such as skin checks or routine cancer screening.

Additionally, your GP may be able to provide support with important lifestyle improvements such as smoking cessation or support in maintaining a healthy weight.

Dental Care

It’s also worth remembering that dental care is an important part of your overall health. Try to visit your dentist at least once a year for an examination of your mouth, teeth and gums, as well as a clean and fluoride treatment.

Convenient Health Care

Our Medical centres are open early until 10pm every day of the year, including all public holidays. These centres also offer the convenience of having all essential services co-located including bulk billing GPs, dental, pharmacy, pathology and x-ray.
